A dying man, a lost soul, a life of memories...
Summary[]
Bleeding out, Arthur drags himself to a cabin. He flips a coin, summoning Kayne, who offers Arthur a deal: John will return with no memories of his time with Arthur. Arthur accepts.
Synopsis[]
Choking on his own blood, Arthur drags himself through a snowstorm and finds a cabin. Inside, he starts a fire and tends to his wounds. He drifts off several times, recalling a piano performance, cooing at Faroe, humming Faroe to sleep, and teaching Faroe how to play her lullaby. Arthur also recalls Kayne's words to him about flipping a coin.
Arthur rummages through his bag and does so, summoning Kayne. Kayne informs him that the King in Yellow has John. Arthur demands Kayne help him. Ultimately, Kayne says that he enjoys Arthur's 'fighting spirit' and offers Arthur a deal: Kayne will give Arthur his arm and leg back (though not his eyes), but John will have no memories of his time with Arthur. He suggests that Arthur will allow John to grow, as he did before. Kayne counts down from three and Arthur, pressed for time, agrees to the deal.

Additional Notes[]
- The entity's line at the end of Coda ('Don't you remember?') directly mirrors John's lines to Arthur in Part 1.
- Kayne stating "Your friends suck at following the rules." is in reference to the Patreons intentionally tying the vote in Part 99.
